Agricultural Scientists’ Recruitment Board (ASRB) is going to conduct, a Competitive ARS / NET Examination – 2009 on 19/09/2010 for filling up the 290 vacancies of Scientists in Agricultural Research Service (ARS).
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with grade pay Rs.6000
Age:
ARS: A candidate seeking admission to the Agricultural Research Service must have attained the age of 21 years but not have attained the age of 32 years as on 01/08/2010.
NET: A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years as on 01/08/2010. There will be no upper age limit for the National Eligibility Test.
Qualification:
For both ARS and NET: A candidate must have a Master's degree or equivalent in the concerned subject.
Application procedure:
The candidates seeking admission to examination must pay to the Board a fee of Rs. 1000/- through a Crossed Bank Draft only, drawn in favour of Secretary, ASRB and payable at New Delhi with the application form. Candidates should write their name and address on the reverse of the Bank Draft in the top corner at the time of submission of application. No fee from SC/ST candidates.
