Tata Institute of Fundamental Research

India-based Neutrino Observatory (INO) Collaboration announces admissions to its Graduate Training Programme 2010 (GTP-2010) leading to Ph.D. degree in High Energy Physics.

Eligibility: Applicants must have a minimum qualification of M.Sc. degree in Physics or B.E./B.Tech. degree in any one of Electronics, E & CE, Instrumentation, Electrical engineering subjects with strong motivation for and proficiency in Physics. The applicants must also have secured a minimum of 55% of marks in the respective qualifying examinations (Fresh students who are appearing for these examinations may also apply provided their current GPA is above 55% or equivalent.

In addition. Applicants should have preferably appeared for any one of GATE, CSIR-UGC, JEST, BARC exams/entrance tests in 2009 or 2010. The scores and grades for the first 3 exams should be mentioned in the application. These candidates. Who have nut cleared any of the above mentioned tests. Have to give a written test at the interview venue.
