Variable Energy Cyclotron Centre

Variable Energy Cyclotron Centre Department of Atomic Energy Government of India, invites applications for Stipendiary Trainees (Category I) for Training in Variable Energy Cyclotron Centre (VECC), Kolkata.

  1. Physics Discipline
    Qualification:

    Minimum 60% marks in B.Sc. (Physics as principal and Mathematics /Chemistry /Statistics /Electronics/Computer Science as subsidiary subjects). Note: Candidates with minimum 60% marks in B.Sc. with Physics/ Chemistry / Mathematics/Statistics/ Electronics/Computer Science/ as subjects with equal weightage will also be considered, provided they have Physics and Mathematics (must) and any one from the above set of subjects

  2. Mechanical Discipline
    Qualification:

  3. Electronics/ Instrumentation Discipline
    Qualification:

    Minimum 60% marks in Diploma in Electronics/ Instrumentation Engineering (3 years after SSC or 2 years after HSC/B.Sc.).

    Vacancies:
    11 (Gen- 4) (SC – 2) (ST – 1) (OBC – 3) ** HH -1)
  4. Electrical Discipline
    Qualification:

    Minimum 60% marks in Diploma in Electrical Engineering (3 years after SSC or 2 years after HSC/B.Sc.).

    Vacancies:
    2 (Gen – 1) OBC – 1)
  5. Computer Discipline
    Qualification:

    Minimum 60% marks in Diploma in Computer Engineering (3 years after SSC or 2 years after HSC/B.Sc.).

    Vacancies:
    1 (Gen – 1)
    Stipend during Training: Rs.9, 300/- p.m.
